VENTURES / HOW IT WORKS

How it works.

A disciplined process, from a confidential first conversation through diligence, close, and integration onto the Veltrus platform. Or, for builders, from a conversation about a territory to a company running in four weeks.

Acquired to work as one, and they do not.

The failure is almost always systems, data discipline, and project controls. One record across companies is the integration layer, working today inside live utility programs. Every Veltrus company runs on it.

PATH ONE

From first conversation to close.

1

Introduction and NDA

A confidential first conversation under a mutual NDA. We assess strategic fit: your markets, clients, team, and where you want the company to go.

2

Indication of interest

From headline financials, a non binding indication of interest: proposed structure, minority or majority stake or full acquisition, and a valuation range.

3

Due diligence

Financial, legal, operational, and commercial review: quality of earnings, contracts and client concentration, backlog, safety record, people, and systems.

4

Definitive agreement

Final valuation, deal structure, governance, management roles, and any rollover or earn out. The transition plan is agreed and signed at close.

5

Integration

A 100 day plan. Your active projects move onto the Veltrus platform, playbook, and back office, with portfolio reporting from the first month.

PATH TWO

From an idea to a company running.

For the operator with the domain knowledge, the expertise, and the network.

1

The conversation

Confidential. The territory or the idea, the utility, and how its work gets done.

2

The plan and the people

Who runs it, what it delivers first, what it needs from Veltrus.

3

Structure

Agreed case by case, in writing, before anything starts.

4

Launch

Four weeks on the platform, the playbook, and the back office: access, standards, a pilot batch, full volume.

Who we look for.

Utility services firms

Engineering, design, inspection, survey, project controls, and construction management for utilities.

Established work

Repeat clients, a track record of delivery, and a team that knows the work.

Founders with a plan

Ready to grow faster with a larger platform behind you, or planning your exit on your terms.

Builders with a network

Operators who know a territory and its utility, and want to run a company there.
